Marvel’s Avengers: Operation Hawkeye – Future Imperfect Trailer Released

Despite a terrible launch, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are still working incredibly hard to fulfil the games monumental amount of potential, and I believe this is the first glimpse of that we’re seeing.

Even after my own personal issues with the game, this trailer did regenerate my interest, especially with old-man Clint and old-man Hulk. It just looks exceptional.

The DLC content is coming free for all players, will be with us on the 18th March 2021 which is around a month away from today, so it’s not long to wait at all which is great.

I haven’t been on the game since my saves were wiped due to the game holding client based saves other than cloud, but I may return to the game once this DLC is out and start again.

However, the player counts are still extremely low. Even for a AAA game that only came out in September, I can’t see this DLC turning things around drastically for the game. I could be wrong but that’s my opinion. I think the developers have waited too long to release content.

They had a roadmap of characters such as Kate (now released), Clint, Spider-Man, Black Panther etc and come March, we will have only seen 2 of them in a 6-month span. Understandably I know each character is getting their own campaign side, but the marketing just isn’t done right.

I will hold out my judgement for now, and embrace what looks like an epic journey with Hawkeye.
