Ethics & Fact Checking Policy

At Only Comic Universe, we care about doing things right, fair, and fun. This policy explains how we make sure our content is accurate, our opinions are fair, and our site stays a positive place for fans, because comics are serious business… but not that serious.
1. Accuracy & Fact-Checking
We aim to be 100% accurate in everything we post. That means digging into sources, checking official statements, and occasionally yelling at our screens when studios tweet misleading info.
If we ever get something wrong (hey, it happens), we’ll raise our hands, admit it, and fix it. Rumors? We might mention them, but only if we clearly mark them as such.
2. Fair Opinions & Rankings
Opinions are our jam. Whether it’s “best to worst superhero movies” or “top 5 moments that made us cry like babies,” we’re sharing our thoughts and encouraging friendly debate.
We never belittle people, creators, or companies. Debate is welcome; harassment is not.
3. Professionalism & Respect
All writers, whether freelance or full-time comic nerds, go through an onboarding process to keep quality high.
Comments, memes, and messages are treated with respect. Basically, think of us as your nerdy customer service heroes. Abuse toward staff or other fans? Blocked and ignored. Serious threats may go to the authorities, because even superheroes have limits.
4. Clickbait Policy
No clickbait here. Ever. Misleading headlines or “you won’t believe what happens next” nonsense? Immediate deletion (it’s never happened in over 2,000 articles and never will). Transparency is king. If it’s news, it’s news. If it’s an opinion, we’ll tell you.
5. Spoilers
Reviews often contain spoilers, but we play nice:
- No spoilers in titles
- Spoiler warning at the top of the article
Want to dodge spoilers? You’ve got time to click away before anything is ruined.
6. Ads & Monetization
Ads keep the lights on. We use Google and direct partnerships, but we never publish content just to chase revenue. Quality always comes first; we’d rather wait a few days than compromise.
7. Sharing & Credit
You can share our content far and wide, just credit Only Comic Universe.
- Our content: Articles, reviews, lists, and our logos belong to us.
- Third-party media: Images, trailers, and logos from other companies (Disney, Marvel, etc.) belong to their creators. We credit them where possible and share responsibly.
8. Feedback & Corrections
Spotted a mistake? Have a suggestion, or just want to rant about your favorite hero losing again? Contact us via our form. We read everything and will respond when we can, except for spam emails like “we spotted 69 errors in your website, we can fix” or any other miracle SEO offers. Those go straight into the digital trash where they belong.
