Following the success of 3 back to back to back shows in WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and Loki, as well as a well received animated series in What If…? Marvel is continuing the run of great form with the latest trailer for their next Disney+ series, Hawkeye.
Hawkeye is an upcoming miniseries created by Jonathan Igla for the Disney+ streaming service, based on the Marvel Characters Clint Barton aka Hawkeye, and Kate Bishop aka Hawkeye.
It is the fifth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe produced by Marvel Studios and shared continuity with the movie franchise, the series also takes place after the events of Avengers Endgame.
Jeremy Renner will be reprising his role as the famed archer Clint Barton with him being joined by Marvel newcomer, Hailee Steinfeld who will be debuting in the series as Kate bishop.
Rounding out the cast you have Vera Farmiga as Kate’s mother, Fra Fee as Kazi, Tony Dalton as Jack Dusuesne, Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez, Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez/ Echo, and returning MCU fan-favorite Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova from the Black Widow movie.
The Hawkeye series is scheduled to premiere on November 24, 2021, and will consist of six episodes. The Hawkeye series has already given the greenlight for a spin-off series focused on Alaqua Cox’s character “Echo”.
