What I Liked

1. We get a flashback scene with Emperor Argyle and a scene where Thaedus objects to Argyle ordering to wipe out an entire planet. We can see Thragg also put ideas of Thaedus being weak and going against the way of the Viltrumites.

2. At the funeral for Emperor Argyle, Thragg is giving a speech about traitors and killing them before they even start. Thragg speaks to another Viltrumite about ever betraying the Viltrumites, and when he says he would not, Thragg doesn’t believe him and kills him by using his speed to cut off his head with his hand.

3. We get to see a brutal scene where, after the funeral speech by Thragg, the Viltrumites just attack one another. We get to see people getting holes punched through them, broken spines, literally ripped in half. This is brutal and bloody.

4. The Viltrumites knew team Invincible was coming, so they made a trap for them. As soon as they got to the planet, Thragg was there, along with many other Viltrumites. The team manages to get some kills against the Viltrumites.

5. I like the moment where Nolan realizes what he has to do. He gets everyone to follow him at their fastest pace, headed towards the planet, Thaedus, Nolan and Mark fly towards the planet’s core after Space Racer shoots his weapon, causing the planet to explode.

6. Thragg literally airbends his punch to the point where even Nolan got sucked forward, then Thragg literally punches Nolan so hard in the jaw that he goes flying out of the planet. Thragg then punches Oliver’s jaw off and rips his arm off. Mark then punches Thragg, but he just blocks it with his forehead like it’s nothing.

What I Disliked

Nothing to report.

Favorite Moment

Thragg loses his mind, and he chooses death after the planet’s explosion of the planet. We literally see him grab Thaedus, rip his head off, and then crush his head. He then fights Nolan, who he punches a hole through his stomach. Thragg then turns to Mark, whom he headbutts and then begins to push out Mark’s eyes; however, he decides not to kill him, but to spare him, as the Viltrumites are now too few.

Standout Character

Thragg takes this. Without a doubt. He was on straight demon time in this episode. Never held back until it came to killing Mark.

Verdict

This is one of the best episodes of not only season 4, but the entire show. The story within this episode was absolutely great, having the flashback scene at the beginning leading into the present day was perfect. The action, oh boy, the action was brutal, bloody, and so incredible.
