Legends Of Tomorrow “Egg MacGuffin”

Season 4 episode 13 “While Ray is worried about Nora, he is suddenly faced with his own problem that forces him to do the unthinkable. Nate and Zari are stuck in an awkward limbo, so Sara devises a plan to send them on an easy mission together. Meanwhile, Charlie and Rory are approached with a lucrative offer that could upend their lives.”

The Good & The Bad

The Good

1. Ray comes to realize Neron is inside him when his hand starts to move and grabs a pillow and starts to smother Nora and try to kill her. Neron tells Ray that he must allow him to take control or Neron will kill someone Ray loves.

2. A time anomaly pops up so Sara sends Nate and Zari to fix the issue. During the mission Zari and Nate think that Sara has planned this to set the two up on a date. Only when Nazi’s threaten to kill the two, the duo realizes Sara didn’t set them up and that this golden egg hunt is real.

3. Throughout the past few season Mick has become quite a writer and novelist. He’s created a whole persona for his writing because he has wrote books about love and other romantic stuff. Charlie finds out Mick has been invited to a convention for his writing persona so they decide it’ll be a quick cash grab. Mona arrives at the con to meet her favorite writer and calls Charlie out on her lies during a panel, this prompts Mick to announce that he was the one who wrote the novels.

4. Constantine has been searching for a way to help save Nora, he comes back from getting a phoenix tale and uses it to save Nora. Nora awakens in a panic and tells Constantine that Neron has Ray!

The Bad

1. During this episode we see very awkward teenage romance between Nate and Zari. They both like each other but just won’t tell each other unless a Nazi is pointing a gun at them. It feels like there rushing this whole romance ark between the two characters.

2. Sara is being wasted as a character. Her whole story this episode was… wait for it…. book club… Yes the badass, league of assassin has been reduced to a book club… i’ll say no more.

3. When Neron was trying to take over Ray’s body, Nate returns to the waverider to help Ray. This allows Neron to gain a little control and start beating Nate to a pulp, Neron then forces Ray to pick up a knife and try to stab Nate.. Ray allows Neron to take control if he doesn’t stab Nate.. the guy can turn to steel.

Holy Shit Moment

No holy shit moment this week.

Verdict

Another weak episode, did enjoy slightly moving forward with the villain. Heatwave, Sara and Nate are being wasted as characters on the show. Below average episode.

Rating: 6/10
