Legends of Tomorrow “Mr. Parker’s Cul-De-Sac” Review

Season 5 Episode 7 “Ray plans a date night for him and Nora, but all goes awry when an Encore shows up making the team think on their feet and create a lie to keep the Encore at bay. While trying to fool the Encore, Ava learns what Sara was really doing while she was away and confronts her. Charlie and Constantine make a deal to work together, which will benefit both of them. Meanwhile, Rory is upset when he gets negative comments about his book, so Zari helps track down who the critic is, and Rory gets more than he bargained for.”

What I Liked?

1. So the episode starts off by heading back to the old west, 2 years prior to the current day. We see Gary taking care of some business for the time bureau when a mysterious figure appears which frightens Gary. Present-day Gary feels something weird happen to him. We see that it’s Damian Darhk.

2. Damian Darhk finds out about Nora, her friends, and Ray. Nora finally stands up to him by telling him that they are her friends and that she’s in love with Ray. Ray and Nora get quickly married. I guess this is how Ray and Nora leave the Legends.

3. Damian Darhk and Sara speak, She tells him that she’ll not forgive him and Damian Darhk tells her that he won’t forgive himself either. He uses the hell sword to kill himself completely instead of going back to hell to be tortured by Astra.

What I Disliked?

1. Constantine has been on the waverider and knows what changing history would do to the present day times. He wants to change history to save Astra and her mother.

2. Mick, I’ll keep saying this until we get a proper arc for him. His character wasted this episode again. He was reduced to a stupid little side story about him having a daughter.

3. The whole story of being nice to Damian was so bad and cringe-worthy. It was plain stupid and not the mention that it was Damian Darhk.

Favourite Moment

We got teased with what would have been an insane magic fight between Damian Darhk and Constantine but it was quickly ended by Nora.

Standout Character

Nora, her story with her father finally felt like it came to an end even though it was a dumb ending. I’m just glad it’s finished.

The Verdict

This episode was by far the worst episode of the entire shows run. The episode lacked enjoyment, action, and a decent story. It felt rushed. It is sad to see Ray Palmer’s time in the Arrowverse come to an end.

Rating: 4.5/10
