Legends Of Tomorrow “The Eggplant, The Witch & The Wardrobe” Review

Season 4 episode 12 “With darkness on the rise in 2019, the team realizes that a new host of problems have risen as they have been cleaning up history. Sara tries to save Ava from a fate worse than death while battling her own demons. Nora and Constantine work together to take down a powerful demon. Meanwhile, Zari gets unsolicited advice from Mona, Charlie, and even Rory.”

The Good & The Bad

The Good

1. Ray and Nate team up for a little adventure to go see what Nate’s father has started to build. We see construction workers building a dragons arena and a unicorn jousting arena. This was the start of Nate getting mixed up by wanting to end the building and keeping it going as a memorial to his father.

2. Neron the demon can literally cause chaos just by walking past people. We see him walking into a motel room where he had captured Ava and while walking to the room we see people fighting, jumping out of windows, cars crashing and just chaos starting.

3. We haven’t saw much of Rory this season but when we do he has witty one liners or just in the background drinking beer. This episode he was resorted to writing a letter to help Zari for what she wanted to say to Nate because Zari likes Nate and Nate likes Zari.

4. My best good point of the episode was Nora and Constantine trying to destroy Neron the demon but Ray having feelings for Nora causes him to try to save her but accidentally letting Neron escape.

The Bad

1. Ava’s purgatory is literally a furniture store… Neron trapped her there so he could use her as a vessel for Tabitha but we see Sara come and save her with the help of Gary. I just wish this was a more darker place than a furniture store, I mean at least make it a dark forest.

2. Ava and Sara’s plot this episode was just a make up episode. The way for Ava and Sara to escape Ava’s purgatory was to settle down and tell each other how they feel and essentially make life plans together… buying a house, getting married the lot.

Holy Shit Moment

We actually saw Nate use his powers… even if it was just for 2 seconds it was great to see them again.

Neron the demon escaping as taking over Ray’s body was unexpected and it’ll be great to see what happens next involving Ray.

Verdict

Fairly average filler episode to be honest… like most it focused more on the love plot than the actually villain plot. Only interesting bit was seeing Neron take over Ray.

Rating: 7.8/10
