Marvel has released their second teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, and this time the trailer was focused on Thor and his reason to fight within the movie, Love.
While we already knew that Hemsworth was returning for the film, having last reprised the role of Thor in the forgettable 2022 film “Thor: Love and Thunder”. It looks like we’re going back to the serious Thor instead of the joke we received in Love and Thunder.
Within the tease, we saw Thor praying to his father Odin to give him the strength to take on a new enemy, most likely Robert Downey Jr’s Doctor Doom.
The trailer also sees the return of Thor’s daughter, Love, played by his real-life daughter India Rose Hemsworth.
Obviously, at the end of the teaser, we see the iconic scripture “Thor will return in Avengers: Doomsday”.
I must admit, seeing a serious Thor return is what I’ve asked for since Ragnarok. I’m glad we’re receiving that.
