Spider-Man Noir Live-Action Series at MGM+ & Amazon Prime – With Nicolas Cage Starring

Nicolas Cage will once again step into the world of Spider-Man and will once again portray the Spider-Man Noir character we saw in the SpiderVerse movies, only this time, he will be portraying him in a live-action series.

Cage is set to star in the live-action series which has been ordered to series over at MGM+ and Amazon Prime Video. The series will debut on MGM+’s linear channel which then will be followed up by a global launch on Prime Video.

Originally announced back in February 2023, the Spider-Man Noir character was announced to be making the jump to live-action, only at that time Nicolas Cage was not attached to the series.

The announcement was made ahead of Amazon’s upfront presentation to advertisers in New York on Tuesday.

“Expanding the Marvel universe with ‘Noir’ is a uniquely special opportunity and we are honored to bring
this series to our global Prime Video customers,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television for Amazon MGM Studios. “The extremely talented Nicolas Cage is an ideal choice for our new superhero and the
accomplished producing team with Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, Amy Pascal, and the incredible team at
Sony is dedicated to expanding this franchise in the most authentic way.”

The series comes from Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot who will also serve as co-showrunners and executive producers.

Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal will also serve as executive producers on the series.
