The latest Spider-Man project is releasing tomorrow, May 27, 2026, on Amazon Prime Video. Spider-Noir is the latest live-action project debuting. The entire season is dropping on Prime, so you can binge-watch the entire season without the weekly release.
The UK release time is 8:00 AM BST, and the US release times are 12:00 AM PDT (West Coast) and 3:00 AM EDT (East Coast). The season consists of 8 episodes in total, with roughly around 42-45 minutes per episode, so you’re looking at around 5 and a half hours of Spider-Noir.
The premise is that this is a version that follows Ben Reilly / The Spider, who is a broken-down private investigator living in 1930s New York, haunted by his past as the city’s only masked vigilante. Nicolas Cage returns, but this version is an older, darker, and more cynical one.
The main cast alongside Cage is Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson, Jack Huston, Lil Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, and Abraham Popoola. You can watch a black-and-white version or a true colour.
The series is just the latest that has had early reactions split. The praise is from gorgeous visuals, unique atmosphere, and Cage’s performance, and the criticism is that some say that the tone clashes between noir and superhero comedy, and that Sony is leaning too hard into the Spider-Man spin-offs again.
