Square Enix Announce Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Game at E3 2021

Square Enix is having another shot at a Marvel game after the less than positive reception from their Avengers game.

On this occasion, they’re bringing out a Guardians of the Galaxy game, which was announced with a trailer at E3.

The game as it stands will be a single-player action-adventure third-person game. That’s a mouthful, but you get the idea.

It’s said you can only play as a Starlord though, which could be a problem for some but I don’t care as long as the game has been given the proper attention and care it deserves. Something the Avengers game never really had.

It will be released on the 26th of October 2021 which is a nice surprise considering a lot of games that were initially meant to come out this year have been delayed to 2022.

I’m all for a single-player game driven by a story. And it is said the game will be dedicated to the Marvel Cinematic Universe counterparts, albeit different actor voices and designs, but it’s obvious they’re trying to not sway too far away.
