What I Liked

01. I love the Empire’s base on Mount Tantiss. You can tell just by watching the episodes where the life is and where the life isn’t. Everywhere the Batch goes there is life and on Tantiss there isn’t life, there is simply the Empire, dark, and grey.

02. I do like how we’re still seeing bounty hunters such as Cad Bane hunt down potential Jedi. We get to see Cad Bane do exactly this in the episode when a child is spotted with a high M count. The Empire sends Cad Bane and without hesitation, he kills the child’s mother.

03. With Dr. Karr now being more involved with Project Necromancer, I do think the children that are there with high M counts will be the catalyst for her to switch alliances and do the right thing, not only for them but for Omega too.

What I Disliked

My only dislike in this episode was the fact that there were no scenes with The Batch. I get that the overall story is surrounding Project Necromancer and Palpatine for future movies but at least have The Batch in scenes.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment would be the moment Dr. Karr meets the children and she instantly gets a connection with one of the children. She even goes as far as to give the child a doll, similar to Omega’s.

Standout Character

The standout this week is simply Dr. Karr. She was the main focus of the episode so she stood out the most.

Verdict

A fairly bland episode which dived more into the Empire’s plans for Palpatine including taking M counts from children and putting the focus on Project Necromancer. While the episode was fairly bland, there was no action and no Batch. A fairly weak episode.
