Star Wars: The Bad Batch “Into the Breach” Review

Season 3 Episode 13 – “The Batch prep for a gambit in enemy territory.”

What I Liked

1. The Batch does not trust Rampart. They keep questioning him about the location of Tantiss. I do like how they are not just allowing him to tell them anything they want real answers before they storm the base.

2. I do like how confident Omega is. She knows she’s escaped Tantiss before and she wants to do it again. She comes up with a plan very quickly and she plans on not escaping by herself but bringing the rest of the kids with her.

3. Any mission in Star Wars that involves going stealthy in an Empire-controlled place is always my favorite scene. I don’t know why but I absolutely love them. I feel like it might be the “good guys in enemy territory” aspect of it.

4. And The Batch is off to tantiss by the skin of their teeth. Hunter and Echo both cut it insanely close to the medical ship jumping to hyperspace before Hunter attachs to it.

What I Disliked

Nothing to report.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment would be seeing the return of Echo and seeing him sneak aboard a medical ship to help get the Batch to Tantiss. Seeing Echo try to disable the sensors to allow Hunter to attach the ship to it was actually really good.

Standout Character

Honestly, this was tough. Probably the toughest choice yet. If I had to choose, it would be Echo. He came in clutch to disable the trackers so Hunter could attach his ship.

Verdict

Honestly, this episode was peak Clone Wars Star Wars. Seeing Clone troopers go in stealthily and just being soldiers was awesome to see. The story progressed slowly but surely and this episode had set up for an action-packed next few episodes.
