According to Comicbook.com, The CW has renewed both The Flash and Superman & Lois. Alongside those are Riverdale, All American, Nancy Drew, Kung Fu, and Walker.
It comes as no surprise as The CW’s flagship of The Flash has been renewed. We do believe Season 9 may be the final season before the show comes to an end.
Superman & Lois is greenlit for Season 3 and this comes as no surprise considering how incredible Season 1 was and how great the current run is doing.
Other shows such as Stargirl, Batwoman, Naomi, and Legends of Tomorrow have yet to be renewed. We expect further details in Spring when it comes to those shows being renewed but it doesn’t look great if they haven’t renewed those. Unless they want to wait for the Upfronts presentation to have some news to drop.
I am happy to see both of the shows be renewed, although with The Flash, I feel like Season 9 should be the final season due to how boring and stale the show has become in recent years. If it can inject something into it during Season 8 then so be it, but I am expecting another poor season.
Superman & Lois is just a different game. It’s easily been one of the best superheroes shows to exist for a long time.
