Over the past few days, Matt Reeves has been revealing the cast for the second part of his Batman universe in the form of small GIFs on the social media platform X.
Robert Pattinson will return as Batman, Andy Serkis will return as Alfred, Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Jayme Lawson as Mayor Bella Real, and Gil Perez-Abraham as Officer Martinez.
Sebastian Stan joins the cast as Harvey Dent, and is one of the latest actors to join the list of both Marvel and DC universes. His fellow Marvel actor, Scarlett Johansson, also joins Matt’s Batman project as Gilda Dent.
Continuing the new additions to the cast are Charles Dance as Christopher Dent, Brian Tyree Henry in an undisclosed role, and Sebastian Koch also in an undisclosed role. The character names for all the cast, with the exception of the returning ones, are all reported by reputable trade outlets as of now and not confirmed fully by Matt Reeves.
The Batman: Part 2 will hit theaters on October 1, 2027.
