What I Liked

1. Fair play to Mark. Coming back to help the search for Barry. Saying to the group that Barry never gave up on him even when he was at his lowest so he isn’t ready to give up on Barry. I don’t usually like Mark as a character but this was great of him.

2. I’m curious about this Malcolm Gillmore character, his background, and what he will do to become Cobalt Blue. He is hearing a voice similar to Alchemy so could it be similar to Kid Flash just evil?

03. The scenes inside of Star Labs I do really like for a few reasons, not only because of the story. It has a horror vibe to it like something is watching the team, hunting them and manipulating them. It’s shot really weirdly too which makes it that much more freaky.

4. The emotional message that Iris leaves for Barry only was actually a huge step in development for Iris. I feel like this message was her truly believing that no matter what happens, those two will always find their way back to each other.

5. Iris having Nora already? Ok, I’m here for it. Barry even makes it back in time.

6. We see Malcolm Gillmore digging up Eddie Thawn’s grave. Captain Korber tells him to stop because it’s a crime, Malcolm tells her he hears voices in his head that he is him. He opens the casket to reveal nothing… no corpse. We see scenes of the season one finale where Eddie kills himself to stop the Reverse Flash. Malcolm/Eddie literally rips the bullet from season one’s finale out of his chest.

What I Disliked

1. Khione has plant powers now? I truly truly hate this storyline for Danielle Panabaker. Caitlin could have had such a great story but no, they decide to go this route.

2. Hardly any Flash? This deep into the final season and fully keeping him out of an entire episode basically is such a negative.

3. KHIONE IS A GODDESS?

Favorite Moment

Ok so even though I don’t like her story, seeing Khione use her powers to turn Mark’s body into dust to remove the crystal from out of his palm was amazing. Khione then uses her “plant powers” to bring Mark back to life in his entirety.

Standout Character

I’ll give this to Khione. As much as I do not like her story, she was the standout for the simple fact that she was the one who fought the negative speedforce and brought Mark back to life.

Verdict

For an episode this deep into the final season, having little to no Flash or Barry in this episode is a negative in my eyes. Although the story was somewhat alright, the action lacked massively. I am very interested now with the ending of the episode.
