What I Liked

1. At the beginning of the episode we get to see a Kree war with Ronin appearing. While I do not know where this war scene because we’re just thrown into it the action is intense and action-packed. I am interested in seeing more of this. Charlies is alive?

2. While Storm is caring for an infected Forge, she’s being tormented by some kind of vulture which is showing her all these visions, etc. Forge wakes up and uses some kind of Doctor Strange magic which causes the vulture to vanish.

3. Storm finally conquering her worst fears and getting her powers back was such an iconic scene. Storm has been fantastic and seeing this journey she went on after thinking that she had lost her powers for good when she saved Magneto has been great.

What I Disliked

Honestly, I feel like the quality has been a letdown for this episode and the first part of the 2 parter episodes. It feels like it’s thrown together and having 3 different stories involved in it has caused me not to be interested in it simply because there is too much going on.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment would be Gladiator saving his leader punching her sister into a wall and easily dispatching her army. Honestly, It was nice getting introduced to Gladiator.

Standout Character

The standout character would be Storm. She went through a tough time and came out the other side a whole new hero.

Verdict

Overall, While the quality of the show took a hit because of the structure and story setting, the action definitely made up for it. Seeing Storm regain her powers and return to being a hero with a whole new look instead of her classic white look was fantastic.
