The first trailer for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1 game has officially been announced and has even released a brutally bloody trailer along with it.
“It’s In Our Blood. Discover a reborn Mortal Kombat Universe created by Fire God Liu Kang. Mortal Kombat 1 ushers in a new era of the iconic franchise with a new fighting system, game modes, and Fatalities!”
Mortal Kombat 1 launches on 19th September 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
However, there are no versions for the PS4 or Xbox One consoles.
Mortal Kombat 1 is a reboot of sorts. The game is set in a “reborn” universe created by the Fire God Liu Kang, who was victorious at the end of Mortal Kombat 11.
There is a new assist system. You can choose from a “unique roster of Kameo fighting partners” to assist you in battle.
At launch, the Johnny Cage character with the likeness to martial arts movie star Jean-Claude Van Damme.
With pre-orders beginning tomorrow (May 19th), players will have early access to six new playable characters (available post-launch), and five new Kameo Fighters (available post-launch).
