Even before a successful first season, Daredevil: Born Again was already clocked in at two seasons, and even though the first season went through a major change within the story and episode set up, it still pulled off a fantastic season.
With Season 2 currently filming and stuff being revealed about the upcoming season, from Matt Murdock recruiting a team of vigilantes to fight against Mayor Kingpin’s vigilante squad, to Kristin Ritter returning as Jessica Jones.
It looks like there may be plans for a third season if the upcoming second season does well and fans continue to support the show.
Coming from the Awards Buzz and Kingpin himself, Vincent D’Onofrio, has confirmed plans for a season 3, and I love that they are thinking long-term for these characters and the story. Vincent said;
“If they allow us to continue, we have a plan. It’s up to the fans to watch, to get excited. It’s up to us to please them and get the story right.”
There are endless possibilities for this show, and I hope they continue to deliver some decent episodes and have a long-lasting show that can go many seasons.
