I’ve recently bought a brand new Nintendo Switch just to play when I’m not playing PlayStation, and I only really bought it for the Pokémon games and to trade Pokemon with a friend. Over the years, I’ve never really been into Pokémon; I’ve played here and there, but this time is different… I’m addicted.
I’ve been playing Sword Religiously, but I’ve recently picked up Let’s Go Evee and Violet (friend got the alternate versions), and when I dived into Violet, it was just a whole new feeling of playing a Pokémon game. I have literally spent hours just walking around, battling Pokémon, and doing raids.
I generally have not really dived into the quests for the badges or even taken down the Team Starr compounds, I’ve simply gone exploring and basically became a Pokémon trainer, and you know what, I’m completely fine with that.
I do have a few major likes about the game as well. I am loving the fact that you’ve started school and can even go attend classes. I also really like that you have to heal your legendary Pokémon, which becomes a way of traversing the map.
I think the more I play the games and watch the shows on Netflix I’m becoming more and more of a fan of the franchise to the point where this is all I’m thinking about playing while at work. I literally tell people that this is my plan when I leave, and they do not believe me.
I generally am in love with this franchise, and I can not wait to play any future Pokémon video game. What is your favorite Pokémon game?
