Aaron Pierre will be making his debut in the upcoming DC show “Lanterns” as the Green Lantern, John Stewart, but even before his debut, confirmation came that we’ll see him return to the DCU.
The upcoming Superman sequel film “Man of Tomorrow” has added a few cast members. The confirmed returns for the movie are Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, and Maria Gabriella de Faria as The Engineer.

Both David Corenswet and Nicholas Hoult will both return as Superman and Lex Luthor for the “Man of Tomorrow sequel, which will see the film hit theaters on July 9, 2027.
Lars Eidinger has joined the cast to play the super-intelligent antagonist, Brainiac. The sequel is written and directed by DC Studios co-chief James Gunn, and is due to start production this summer in Atlanta.
Pierre joins the movie after we see his debut in Lanterns this August. Lanterns is about a new recruit in John Stewart being trained by veteran Lantern Hal Jordan. Per the show’s synopsis, the series follows “two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark, earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland.”
