All of the Marvel Shows Announced at New York Comic Con 2025

New York Comic Con has seen some fresh announcements for upcoming shows and also renewals. Marvel continues to ensure output to Disney+, and the animation aspect of the franchise has done very well lately, which has also seen a fresh lot of announcements.

VisionQuest

This show will fill out a trilogy of shows. We began with WandaVision. We then got Agatha All Along. It’ll end with VisionQuest.

Paul Bettany will return to his role as Vision, whilst we’ll also see a return for James Spader as Ultron. The other cast includes Jonathan Sayer as U, James D’Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S., Henry Lewis as D.U.M.-E, Ruaridh Mollica as Thomas Shepherd, and Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y.

What’s different about Vision right now is that Red Vision gave Vision all of his memories, including the memories from within the Hex. But White Vision is having real difficulty connecting to them.

White Vision’s journey during the show is about his attempt to connect to those memories and who he was… but with lasers!

It’s no surprise that Daredevil: Born Again was going to be renewed for another season. The first season is one that I was incredibly nervous for, but I believe Marvel handled it very well after bringing it back from Netflix.

We’ve also seen the return of Jon Bernthal as The Punisher in the first season. This marked another character that was brought over from Netflix. The next is Jessica Ritter, who appeared on the panel stage alongside Charlie Cox. They had the following to say about the second season:

All bets are off. The world has changed a lot for Matt and for super heroes in general. It’s a much more sinister world. It’s a scary place for people who are trying to do the right thing, trying to do good. – Charlie Cox

So I got the talking points, and they say, ‘Please don’t reveal anything about Jessica Jones.’ So nothing to say. But I’ll say that Jessica is back, and it’s exciting to be in the action. And she looks cooler than ever. – Jessica Ritter

Wonder Man

It’s a project we knew was in the air for quite some time; we don’t have long to wait. The first episode in an 8-episode series will premiere on January 27th, 2026.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will be the star of the show. We’ll also see the return of Sir Ben Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery in the show, as both of these incredible people were on stage together at the panel, talking to the crowd. We cannot wait for this one.

There wasn’t a lot I could dig up that was said or shown at the panel. If this changes, I will of course update the article. We do know that Peter Parker will return to animation in Fall 2026 exclusively on Disney+.

Summer 2026. That’s when we will get the second season, and it was also confirmed that a third season is already in the works, even before the second has aired. This shows so much faith in the show itself, which is a solid move from Marvel here.

There was some exclusive footage shown at the panel that we don’t have access to, unfortunately. I don’t think it’ll be long before this footage is released to the public.

There we have it, folks. That’s all of the announcements so far for the television side. Which show are you looking forward to the most?
