Insomniac Games’ Wolverine has finally had a new trailer, which showcased some cinematics as well as gameplay throughout it. Throughout the trailer, we saw Wolverine in a few different outfits throughout it, from the iconic yellow suit to him rocking a flannel and a cowboy hat.
If you did not know, Wolverine was massively hit with a leak. Over a terabyte of data was leaked, which showcased pre-alpha footage, characters, story, and outfits. So, going from this leak, we know that there will be suits in-game that we can unlock.
So here is where my list of 5 suits I would like to see comes into play, and I’ll return to this article once the game is officially out and we can rank our favorite suits from the game.
5. X-Force
Honestly, the entire X-Force character suits are fantastic. The sleek grey and black of the suits just looks incredible, and Wolverine is probably my second favorite after Deadpool, of course. I think the X-Force suit would suit most of the game’s terrain.
4. 2000 Movie
Honestly, this might be a rogue shout, and people do generally hate this suit, but hear me out right, what if just for the pure memes of it why not add in to the X-Men 1 movie suit that Wolverine made fun of? Honestly, it would look good with Insomniac’s touch added to the suit and from Spider-Man, we know they like to add in a classic stupid suit.
3. Days of Future Past
Honestly, while we didn’t see much of this suit in Days of Future Past, it was only mainly the introduction to the future timeline Logan, the suit looked amazing. The cargo-type pants with the padded armor up top, with the hint of blue and orange, just popped.
2. Ultimate Wolverine
Honestly, this is a pretty recent suit that debuted in the comics, but my god, is it a beauty. If you didn’t know, Ultimate Wolverine recently debuted in the comics in the last year or so, and it’s a case of this version of Wolverine also being Winter Soldier. The suit is all black with hints of red throughout it with a metal mask. It has generally entered the top 5 Wolverine suits of all time for me.
1. X-Men Evolution
This is my number one favorite suit for Wolverine. This is the Wolverine suit that I will always remember, that I will always push to see live-action, and now I would love nothing more to rock this within the game. If this suit is in the game, this might be the only time I complete an Insomniac Game’s game wearing one suit.
Obviously, you will have your obvious suit in the game, which is the suit from Deadpool and Wolverine, you’ll have a few versions of that, maybe the masked version, the sleeveless, and potentially the no shirt one.
