Marvel has released a brand new trailer for their biggest movie of this year, The Fantastic Four: First Steps which has shown a brand new look at a few things previously unseen in the teaser trailer that was released a little while ago.
The trailer focused on the arrival of the Silver Surfer, Shalla-Bal. While not the traditional Silver Surfer many fans are used to, Shalla-Bal is a version of the Silver Surfer that will be portrayed by Julia Garner, who portrays the character through motion capture.
Within this brand new trailer, fans also got a tease of Mr. Fantastic’s stretch powers, something that many fans questioned about in the previous teaser trailer. While the previous teaser did not show anything regarding the stretch powers, this trailer did tease it, and they look incredible.
Another main focus of the trailer was the announcement that Sue Storm was pregnant. This was also a heavily spoken about moment from the previous teaser, as there was a shot in that teaser which looked “odd” and everyone mentioned the pregnancy. Could this be why Galactus is arriving on Earth still?
The film stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ralph Ineson, and Julia Garner, with Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles also starring in the film. It’s reported that Robert Downey Jr. may appear in a post-credits scene as Dr. Doom.
The film is set to release in theaters on July 2.
