Peacemaker “Another Rick Up My Sleeve” Review

Season 2 Episode 3 – “Economos pays for the team’s botched mission. Peacemaker pursues Harcourt in the other dimension.”

What I Liked

1. It’s always nice to see Rick Flag Jr. What I didn’t expect was to see what kind of relationship he had with Harcourt. Seeing him being in love with her while still dating June (Enchantress from Suicide Squad 1) was very interesting and makes Harcourt’s “relationship” with Peacemaker even more interesting.

2. Peacemaker goes to see Harcourt at ARGUS. He sees Harcourt, but then gets interrupted by Rick Flag Jr from this dimension. Peacemaker sort of panics and gets all trembly when speaking to Rick Flag. I feel as though Peacemaker still has a lot of regret from killing him.

3. Peacemaker goes to see Harcourt. He explains that some things are changing with him and how he is, and even Harcourt agrees that he has changed. They speak about potentially getting into a relationship, but Harcourt explains that he can not mess her around. While this is happening, someone explodes in front of them.

4. Peacemaker defuses the bomb and kills the Sons of Liberty while his brothers flies in and take down the escape chopper that was waiting for the Sons. Peacemaker finally does a job with his brother and gets the applause that he deserves.

What I Disliked

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment would be seeing Peacemaker run into the building where the Sons of Liberty are. Peacemaker easily takes down 2 of the Sons. The rest of the Sons come to see what the noise is and are quickly dispatched as well. This scene was quite brutal.

Standout Character

I’m going to give this to Peacemaker. Obviously, the scene where he goes up against the Sons of Liberty and stops a bomb was just crazy.

Verdict

A fantastic episode that delivered some brutal and bloody moments within the episode and gave some heartfelt moments between Peacemaker and Harcourt. It was amazing seeing Rick Flag Jr once again. Overall, the season continues to be great.
