Prime Video has officially dropped all 8 episodes of Spider-Noir, meaning fans can now binge the entire season in one sitting.
The new series stars Nicolas Cage as Ben Reilly, a retired vigilante turned private investigator in a gritty 1930s New York. The show leans heavily into the noir aesthetic, bringing a darker and more detective-driven take on the Spider-Man universe.
One of the most unique aspects of the series is the way viewers can choose how they want to experience it. Prime Video allows fans to watch every episode in either “Authentic Black and White” or “True-Hue Full Color”, giving audiences two completely different visual experiences.
Will you watch Spider-Noir in full color? Or are you going all-in on the classic black-and-white noir style? Honestly, both versions seem to bring something different to the table. Personally, I’ve opted for full color.
It’s also an absolute blessing that Amazon decided to release the entire season at once instead of stretching it out weekly. In an era where binge-watching still dominates streaming culture, dropping all 8 episodes feels like the perfect move for a show like this.
Early reactions to the series have been largely positive, too, with many praising the atmosphere, cinematography, and Cage’s performance as the mysterious “Spider.” If nothing else, it certainly looks like one of the most stylistically unique Marvel projects we’ve had in quite some time.
