James Gunn and DC teased that the Supergirl would be released today, and they have stuck to their promise. The trailer looks incredible as Milly Alcock gets her moment to shine; she looks phenomenal just as she did in the Superman movie.
Supergirl will hit theatres on June 26th, 2026, which doesn’t feel too far away considering we got a Superman movie this year.
It’s a solid start for James Gunn over at DC. He’s seemingly making the right decisions on stories, characters, and even casting choices as well. DC badly needed this after their up-and-down trajectory in recent years.
I think David Corenswet and Milly Alcock as our Kryptonian heroes is a fantastic move, and I am still hoping that James Gunn can move into a fully fledged Justice League team-up film.
Roll on 2026, there is a lot to look forward to as a superhero fan.
