What I Liked
1. The episode immediately begins with Maul attacking Vader. The two Jedi also join in on the fight, but Vader does not struggle. He easily hits Maul’s leg with his saber. The trio all attack Vader, with Vader easily holding his own and not even breaking a sweat.
2. Devon faces off alone against Marrok and The Crow while Daki and Maul face off against Vader. Daki throws his saber to Devon, who uses it against the two Inquisitors. All of them begin to fight on the broken bridge, while Lawson and his son escape.
3. I do like how Lawson, his son, and Twoshoes manage to hold off countless Stormtroopers while his son and Twoshoes are pinned down, Lawson uses a Stormtrooper’s canon to hold them off while his son escapes.
4. I do like how Maul manages to trick Devon into using her rage, which he sees in great action. He knows how to play with someone’s mind, and this is what happens as he promises her that he will train her to be able to defeat Vader.
What I Disliked
Nothing to dislike.
Favorite Moment
My favorite moment would be when Daki and Maul work together to fight Vader. Even though the two made a decent team, Maul is ultimately still Maul, and sacrifices Daki to make Devon unleash her rage. While it happens, and she manages to use her rage against The Crow.
Standout Character
I’m giving this to Vader. They love making him brutal and scary. He was absolutely brutal within this episode, and he didn’t even truly try until he got hit with a lightsaber.
Verdict
What a finale episode. The story was absolutely solid, and the action was “chef’s kiss.” Honestly, in this finale episode, everyone stood out as a great character, but none more so than Vader or Maul. Seeing the history coming full circle from that boy on Tatooine to now dueling Maul and absolutely toying with him was fantastic.
