When Could the First Trailer for Avengers: Doomsday Release?

18th December feels so far away, but in reality, it’s a little over 9 months away from release. It’s closer than we think, and we’re also closer to full-scale trailers being released.

We have had several teases for specific characters within the film, including Captain America, Thor, Black Panther, and more. What we really need is the full-length trailer so we can see exactly what this movie plans to do.

As it currently stands, all we can do is speculate. I will be going off mainly Infinity War and Endgame’s timelines in order to get a guesstimate more than anything.

Infinity War

Trailer release: November 29th, 2017
Movie release: April 27th, 2018

Endgame

Trailer release: December 7th, 2018
Movie release: April 25th, 2019

Doomsday (estimated)

Trailer release: July 18th-August 3rd
Movie release: December 18th, 2026

There is one huge event that happens every single year around that time of year.

San Diego Comic-Con.

This means the Avengers: Doomsday could very well be around July 23rd, as that’s when SDCC happens this year. I can imagine Marvel would love nothing more than to drop a Doomsday trailer into a packed Hall H. The internet would go into meltdown. The timings just feel too perfect for it not to be anywhere else other than there.
