The Hollywood Reporter has reported that John Wick actor Keanu Reeves has joined the popular Sonic movie franchise as the highly sought-after Shadow.
Keanu Reeves is a perfect voice option for Shadow and I’m looking forward to seeing how he gets on when the trailer is officially released.
Not much is known at the current moment and is being dubbed for a December 2024 release but that’s highly unlikely if someone is just being cast for the role now.
I believe this will be pushed back a year after the SAG-AFTRA strikes in 2023. This hasn’t stopped Paramount from going full steam ahead though.
We currently have 2 movies, a soon-to-be third, and a Knuckles spin-off TV series that is all tied together. I never thought we’d have a Sonic universe in live-action but honestly, I’m here for it.
