Legends of Tomorrow “The Fixed Point” Review

Season 7 Episode 10 – “The Legends are tired of being chased by an evil A.I. and her robo-soldiers, so Sara decides to create an aberration that will allow the team to take back the Evil Waverider”

Please note, our reviews are based on likes and dislikes. These contain major spoilers. If you haven’t already watched the episode we would recommend that you click off the article, and come back once you have watched the episode. Enjoy!

What I Liked

1. I absolutely love the fact that in this “time travel” bar, the Legends are a literal joke of a team, and even get made fun of by a younger group of time travelers. It’s one of the best scenes.

2. I will say a scene between Spooner and Zari was decent, especially with Spooner coming out as A-sexual. I liked this scene. It was the character development that wasn’t needed but I knew eventually would come.

3. While Sara is taking down the assassins, we get to see the return of an old foe. The Reverse-Flash, Eobard Thrawne who is protecting the timeline. The two get into a fight. Thrawne mentions that his job is to protect the fixed point.

What I Disliked

1. We learn that there is a “fixed point” in time where time travelers come to stop or change history that not even Gideon knows about… like really? Gideon is literally a time-traveling computer that doesn’t know about all this… what a joke.

2. Sara Lance… an actually League of Assassin’s member, the White Canary, someone who has trained countless years as an assassin… freezes and fails to stop an assassination. I swear the writers have forgotten about Sara’s history.

Favourite Moment

Seeing Sara pretty much “Edge of Tomorrow” this scene was actually pretty decent, it doesn’t take away from how badly the episode was written though. Sara still continued to fail to stop the assassination though.

Standout Character

Sara Lance was literally the only character to have any action in this week’s episode so I’ll give this to her.

Verdict

It’s a much better episode this week compared to the previous couple of episodes. While I did still have issues with the writing for Sara Lance, I did like a few other bits. Overall a good episode for a change.
