Star Wars: The Bad Batch Renewed for A Season Two

Star Wars: The Bad Batch debuted a few months back, and every single week they have delivered a great episode. We first got to see The Bad Batch in action way back in The Clone Wars Season 7.

Well today, Star Wars officially announced that The Bad Batch will return for season two and that season two will arrive in 2022.

As well as announcing a second season, they also announced that the finale for season one will be a 2-part series starting tomorrow over on Disney+.

For me, I saw this coming from a mile away, not only because of how good the episodes have been in season one, but how well received this team of enhanced Clones have been, they are literally loved fandom wide and it is fully deserved.

President of Disney+ and ESPN+ Michael Paull has said “Fans have enthusiastically embraced the action and drama of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and we are excited to see the Star Wars animated universe continue to expand on Disney+”.

He also stated, “As the dedicated streaming home for the Star Wars franchise, we can’t wait for the second season of this fan-favorite animated series”.

Executive producer Dave Filoni also gave a quote “The entire Lucasfilm Animation team and I would like to thank Disney + and our fans for the opportunity to continue telling the story of the Bad Batch”.
