What I Liked

1. The Batch makes a plan to head to Tarkin’s compound to plant a homing device on Doctor Hemlock’s ship to reveal the location of the science facility and where they are keeping Crosshair. They are planning a stealth mission to rescue Crosshair.

2. The Batch manages to disrupt the censor to hitch a ride on the cable car, they quickly dismantle some Stormtroopers and make entry into Tarkin’s compound. Tarkin, Doctor Hemlock, and a few other Imperial commanders, including Krennic are discussing plans for the clones.

3. The Batch manages to infiltrate the compound, they split up into two teams, Omega and Wrecker plant the homing device, and Hunter, Tech, and Echo go to the deck to distract the guards and keep watch, they also run into the path of Saw Guerra.

What I Disliked

Nothing to report.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment comes during the Batch’s escape. While they are trying to escape from multiple teams of Stormtroopers, Saw is also trying to escape while wanting to blow up the compound. Both teams are managing to escape.

Standout Character

It’s hard to give this to any one character, they all stood out equally. If I had to give it to someone, it would be Tech. He spoke up against Hunter telling him that Crosshair is their brother and they don’t leave anyone behind.

Verdict

A solid first part to a 2-parter, this first part was mission-oriented, focused on finding the science facility and Crosshair’s location. The episode was action-packed and left on a cliffhanger, literally.
