Season 3 Episode 11 – As Courtney, Sylvester and the JSA plot to take down a major threat, the arrival of someone from their past sends shock waves through the town.

What I Liked

1. If we hadn’t just watched Jordan murder The Crocks, you’d probably hang on to every word he’s just said about forgiveness. He’s also just told Cameron that it wasn’t Courtney who killed him and it was Mike. I have no idea what Jordan has in store for Mike but it’s safe to say he’s already made me nervous about it.

2. That didn’t take long at all, the group found the remains of Paula and Larry, and the reactions were absolutely devastating to watch. More so for Artemis who now has no parents, her scream echoed throughout the tunnels. Pat and Barbara also looked heartbroken when they heard the news, but Barbara didn’t really get time to process what she heard as Jordan makes his return known.

3. Can’t deny loving it when Sylvester blows up. His reaction to Jordan being back is just unmatched. He just lost it. I’m totally on his side in regards to this, Icicle was responsible for Sylvester’s death so it’s natural for him to want his own back. He lost his entire team and his life, I’d be pretty mad too.

4. Sylvester pleads for Courtney’s permission to go after Icicle, I do have to appreciate the respect he has for her despite her being a teenager. Although I love how Courtney always sees the good in people I do think her feelings for Cameron are clouding her judgment on this one. I do hope she comes around quickly and realizes that Jordan has not changed.

5. The episode ends by showing us Jordan and Ultra Humanite are working together. This now makes perfect sense. I did feel like he was quite a random villain to just throw in here as The Gambler’s murderer but it makes perfect sense if Jordan’s been calling the shots.

What I Disliked

Nothing really to report this week except I do hope we get to see more of the JSA in the final 2 episodes, especially Rick and Beth as they’ve felt pretty nonexistent this season.

Favorite Moment

The scene between Barbara and Artemis was unbelievably heartbreaking to watch. She’s just a kid and lost both her parents, I felt that scream. I truly felt it.

Standout Character

I think Jordan deserves standout this week, absolutely amazing character despite being the bad guy. He brings so much tension and chaos to our screens it’s great.

Verdict

An amazing episode this week. I’m extremely excited for the final two episodes as this has lined it up perfectly for an explosive finale.
