It feels like this movie has been in development for the longest time but the trailer is finally here. Joaquin Phoenix will be returning to his role as Arthur Flek whilst Lady Gaga will be starring as Harley Quinn.
The movie will be taking a slightly different direction from the first. Folie à Deux will predominately be a musical. Whilst I was skeptical at the news initially, the trailer looked very good.
We also got a release date within the trailer which is always a nice touch. We don’t have that long now to wait.
The official release date is October 4th, 2024.
It will remain to be seen if this film can live up to the second, more so in terms of the numbers at the box office. I don’t think it can due to how prominent comic book movies were back in 2018/2019 but I hope it does well.
