Why The Justice League Movie Wasn’t That Bad – Unpopular Opinions #1

Welcome to our brand new series; Unpopular Opinions. We regularly have conversations that differ from the mass public opinion. Everyone has an opinion that many others don’t agree with. Many comic book, Justice League and DC fans hate the Justice League movie and what ended up being the movie in general.

The Justice League movie had problems long before it released in theaters.

While Zack Snyder’s vision for the movie involved a lot of stuff like Darkseid, time travel and more, the version we got to see was completely stripped of all that.

I personally think that when Joss Whedon took control of the movie he ruined what Snyder visioned which scrambled the story and essentially changed it and the rumor was he changed around 80 pages of the script.

Justice League was actually decent. Ok, hear me out. The movie gave us great scenes for each character from Batman to Cyborg. It gave us badass Aquaman moments which essentially took his character from a joke to a more serious contender for a hero in comic books.

The movie also gave us two great characters in Cyborg and Flash played by Ray Fisher and Ezra Miller who both absolutely love the characters and the movie left us with hopes of a team-up movie between the two.

Fair enough the story could have worked better with the original script but the movie itself gave us the potential for each member of the league to receive their own standalone movies which 2 of them have been successful.

Overall Justice League doesn’t deserve all the hate it receives, yes it deserves some and rightly so but the movie is actually fun to watch and will be one of those movies you watch when there is nothing else to watch.

I hope we get a sequel and I hope Zack Snyder returns and gives us his vision of the movie he originally planned.
