What I Liked

01. The X-Men are running tests on this new “Jean Gray”, Beast figures out that this is the real Jean Gray but the Jean that is on the team is actually a clone. Jean also uses her powers to read the other Jean’s memories and gets a hint of Mr Sinister.

02. While I absolutely love that Mr Sinister is getting some love in this episode being the main villain, this just makes me want to see him brought to live-action even more. He’s such a fantastic villain that’s truly important to the X-Men.

03. Madelyne Pryor uses her powers to get Morph to fight for her so Morph being the overpowered character he is, begins turning into other mutants and fighting the X-Men team while Madelyne Pryor and Magneto go at it.

04. Jean Grey realizes that Scott is being hurt so she uses her powers as well as the phoenix force to allow her to fight Madelyne Pryor in a mind game. Jean shows Madelyne Pryor some memories. It’s a trippy scene that allows Jean to remember some of the memories that Madelyne Pryor had. Madelyne Pryor remembers who she is and she begins attacking Mr Sinister to save her son.

05. We actually get to see the moment Cable got his infection. Mr Sinister puts the virus into Nathan which is only one outcome… Nathan has to go to the future with Bishop to be saved even though Scott doesn’t want to abandon his son.

What I Disliked

Nothing to report.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment would be when the X-Men get attacked in the mansion by not real people and objects. This was straight out of a horror movie. This was all caused by the clone Jean. It was a really great scene too. I love Bishop’s powers, him being able to endure anyone’s power and use it as his own will forever be so cool.

Standout Character

Honestly, Madelyne Pryor takes this. She was amazing, she was unstoppable, and she saved the day all while taking the fight to the X-Men, and not just some low-level X-Men, they had Cyclops, Magneto, Wolverine, and more.

Verdict

A fantastic episode. From the moment it started to the moment it ended it was superb. We got to see Mr Sinister arrive and infuse Nathan Summers with the tech virus. We got to see the debut of Madelyne Pryor and truly see some of her power.
