Let's TalkMoviesStar Wars

48 Years Ago Today, Star Wars Began

On May 25, 1977, George Lucas had a little movie release in cinemas called Star Wars. Ever since that release, Star Wars has continued to become ever so popular and generate billions of dollars in revenue.

Star Wars has an important part in people’s lives. From the original trilogy, to the prequels, and the sequels. It doesn’t matter when you were born, it continues to be a part of your life. Star Wars has been a huge part of my life and it continues to do so.

Star Wars also continues delivering some amazing movies, series, comics, games, and more. Star Wars continues to break barriers and has seemingly managed to stay true to canon, although there are the Legends stories, but that is slowly making its way back into canon.

Star Wars

Some of my favorite times being a nerd have come from Star Wars. I still remember watching the prequels and just instantly falling in love with the universe. It is truly one of the most consistent universes within the canon.

I have faith in Star Wars and Disney to continue to create unique and amazing stories within this universe and deliver some amazing content as well.

Here is to more years of Star Wars, and thank you, George Lucas, for creating this magnificent story.
