What I Liked

1. We get to see Maul in a state we rarely see in the opening of this episode. We see him hurt, barely walking, and we get to see him have glimpses of a young Maul as a child, whom Maul says he hates. It’s interesting to see this come into effect.

2. The Eleventh Brother goes into the police station and goes into the interrogation room with Lawson’s son. The Eleventh Brother is seriously making a really good name for himself through this show so far, and he’s only been in a couple of episodes.

3. I do really like how, while Maul is walking through a sandstorm, we get to see flashes of his childhood. From seeing Savage telling him not to go with Palpatine, to his training with Palpatine, and the torture that he went through. From the painful memories of the Clone Wars.

4. Two Boots rescues Lawson’s son, while they are trapped by Stormtroopers, Devon arrives in a fast vehicle, and the team makes an escape through the city while being chased by speeders and a ship. Dake manages to throw a speeder at the ship, and they manage to escape.

What I Disliked

Nothing to report.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment would be when Maul makes it back to his group, Maul finds out that Dryden Vos wants to meet him. It’s all linking together with Solo.

Standout Character

Maul takes this. I loved seeing the range of emotions and memories throughout the episode.

Verdict

A really solid story for this episode. It was emotional and impactful for Maul, while the action side of the episode went to Lawson and the Jedi. Overall, this was a really great episode, and the show just continues to be better in the final episodes.
