Recently, the pre-order bonuses for Wolverine were revealed, and I’m honestly not sure how I personally feel about it. It’s not good, it’s just not what I was expecting in all honesty.
When you look at previous pre-order bonuses for the Insomniac Games’ Marvel games, you’ve had suits upon suits, upgrades for abilities, and even a statue or two. Wolverine’s pre-order bonuses don’t feel up to that standard, even though I am excited for the pre-order bonuses.

If you pre-order the standard edition of Wolverine, you will receive the classic brown suit, which was always going to be a suit in the game, although I do think it should have been a normal suit to unlock, given Wolverine’s history of suits. There are many suits, I believe, that should have been a pre-order bonus. For example, the Wolverine suit from the Deadpool & Wolverine movie.
You also receive a technique point, reflective claws, and 4 PlayStation avatars. While the reflective claws are a nice touch, I hope this means we can customize the claws so that we can have different styles of claws for Wolverine, depending on which suit we are wearing in the game.
The 4 PlayStation avatars I’m not really interested in, in all honesty, I could not tell you which avatar I have on PlayStation at the minute.

This is where it starts to pick up. I think the suits you get with the digital deluxe edition are fantastic. The suits are great and from great versions of Wolverine from his history. I’m excited to see that these are the five pre-order suits as well as five claws and 3 technique points.
This is the edition I’ll be getting. I think this is worth it, and I believe the upgrade for this alone will feel worth it.
