Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’s First Trailer is Officially Released

I’ll be honest. I don’t care for this film in the slightest. As long as Amber Heard is in it, I’ll struggle to care.

In the trailer, it’s apparent that her role has been reduced as she only appears briefly. It’s possible that her presence in the trailer has been minimized due to negative feedback.

As a film critic, my job is to review movies objectively. Regardless of my personal feelings towards Amber Heard, I must put them aside and judge the film solely on its merits. That being said, the trailer for the movie looks very promising.

The original film was a massive success during a time where superhero movies were consistently earning over $1 billion. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this has all changed.

The chances of the film reaching the same heights are unlikely considering the recent poor performance of most DC projects at the Box Office.

It’s a common question whether a sequel can match the success of the original movie. However, based on the trailer, it seems like the sequel has the potential to be just as good as the first one. Personally, I enjoyed the trailer. The release date for the sequel is expected to be around the same time as the original, which means it will be in theaters on December 20th, 2023.
