Rumours have been circling this week that a Halo game would be coming to PlayStation. If this happens, then it’s safe to say the end of Xbox is near.
Over the last few years, Xbox has not even come close to touching what Sony has created with the PlayStation technology. Xbox has been going downhill very slowly. I’m fortunate enough to have both consoles, and I can safely say that I do all my gaming on the PlayStation 5.

Over the last couple of years, some major Xbox titles have had rumours put out that they would be releasing on the PlayStation, and eventually, a few months afterwards, the game releases. So far, we’ve had the likes of The Indiana Jones game, Gears of War, and a major title in Forza.
The latest rumour is that a Halo game will be released on the console. If this is a true rumor, then Xbox will officially die. I see no way that they can keep players on that console. Yes, it may be a cheaper alternative to the PlayStation, but realistically, what is there on Xbox now?
Xbox does have a partnership with PC and Steam, but is that truly enough to keep players happy? Xbox exclusives have done that for years, and now those exclusives are not that, they are just some more games releasing on a different platform.
At this point, an Xbox console is a high-tech Netflix, Amazon Prime, and any other subscription service box.
