Season 4 Episode 4 – “Hurm.”

What I Liked
1. I like that we’re seeing Mark needing to speak about his choice to kill. He feels like he can not wear the uniform anymore. He believes that he is like his father, but Art tells him that there would need to be a lot more death and destruction for him to be like Omni-Man.
2. The fight scene between Damian Darkblood and his team was so good. The villain literally came in, messed with them, and exploded his sister in front of him. This scene was such a good action scene, and it was brutal without much blood.
3. This episode being about the demons and hell and how the demons are actually protecting Earth, was very interesting. Honestly, I did not think I would be invested in this Damian Darkblood stuff when I first saw the trailer, but it’s better than I imagined.
4. Invincible realizes what he truly needs to do while down in hell. He sees Satan and the demons all dying or impaled. He decides to take the fight to Demonica. While she’s giving a speech, Mark quickly punches her head off.
5. Eve goes to tell Mark about being pregnant, but this is interrupted by Omni-Man and Allen the Alien.
What I Disliked

Favorite Moment
My favorite moment would be when Damian and Invincible are floating down to the “not” bottomless pit. Invincible is asking Damian questions like why does his helmet retract and he says, “To look cool.” Invincible throws Damian back up the hole while he fights a three-headed dog. Damian gets scared when he nearly hits the floor, but Invincible catches him.
Standout Character
I’m going to give this to Damian. He was just hilarious and overcame a big moment to convince Invincible to finally join the fight in hell.
Verdict
Honestly, seeing the trailer, I thought I wouldn’t like the hell and demon storyline. The overall story was fairly decent. Could it have been better? Sure, however, the action within this episode was really good. I’m curious to see the reaction more has next episode to Nolan returning.
