Finally, an Invincible video game has been revealed, and the graphics generally look amazing. The video game is a brutal, bloody, and frenetic 3v3 tag fighter game coming in 2026.
The game will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, and Xbox Cloud from Quarter Up, a Skybound Studio.
It seems the love for side fighter games, such as Mortal Kombat, is on the rise again, as evidenced by the recent reveal of Invincible VS, a tag fighter game, and Marvel Tokon, a Marvel-themed tag fighter game.
While this was not the type of video game I expected from Invincible, I’ll happily take it. I would have loved an open-world style game or even a video game where you created your own superhero or villain. Hell, I would even take a single-play story-mode game for Mark’s life.
Now, there is a lot of potential with this game if they continue to add downloadable content throughout the game’s lifespan. The game needs a solid road map, cause even with the Invincible character tied to it, once a fighter game gets stale, it dies.
Mortal Kombat is a prime example, that game releases and it’s dead within a year, you hear it pop up now and again with the DLC characters, and that’s enough to bring some life into it for a little bit, but not enough to save it.
I generally can not wait for 2026, it seems like it’s going to building to a huge year for video games with this Invincible VS game as well as the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6.
