Please note, our reviews are based on likes and dislikes. These contain significant spoilers. If you haven’t already watched the episode, we recommend that you click off the article and come back once you have watched the episode. Enjoy!

What I Liked

1. The episode begins with Peacemaker and Harcourt enjoying the evening, and after a night of taking shots, Peacemaker and Harcourt leave. While on the way out, Harcourt nearly gets into a fight with a big guy, and Peacemaker stops it to save the bloke from Harcourt. Honestly, as messed up as the two are, they are decent together.

2. Flag has multiple teams inside of the place where Peacemaker has all the doors to different worlds and dimensions. They are going through, looking at all the doors and seeing what is inside the dimensions, looking for something.

3. The team enters a candyland world and gets attacked by tiny little creatures that manage to lock the door and keep Langston and Agent Kline in that world, getting bitten and attacked by tiny little creatures, but manage to get back, with the exception of Agent Kline, who is killed.

4. Adebayo talks Adrian into using some of the blood money sitting in his room as bail for Peacemaker. Peacemaker refuses to leave but ultimately has to leave prison; he comes to collect Eagley and disappears from the gang.

5. Seeing all the different worlds and dimensions was great, seeing all the potential teases from zombies to a black hole. Honestly, if that world were DCeased, then that is amazing. Ultimately, the goal was to find Salvation.

What I Disliked

1. The overall story for this episode has been so boring. The search for a prison world, Peacemaker being hidden and too harsh on himself, and doing the usual pushing friends away, was so boring to witness. Honestly, I love James Gunn, but he got the story for this finale absolutely wrong.

2. This finale episode had left so many questions unanswered, which was severely disappointing. Did Keith survive on that other world? What happened to that Vigilante on that world? Will we see Peacemaker again?

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment was seeing Flag finally get revenge for his son by having Peacemaker be the first prisoner on Salvation.

Standout Character

I’m going to give this to Sasha this week. She came to realize that what Flag was doing was bad and helped the team.

Verdict

Honestly, for a finale episode. This episode was one massive setup for future projects and stuff inside the DCU. Honestly, the previous episode should have been the finale episode. For a finale, this was lackluster, and slightly boring.
