The actor who is known for work such as The Witch, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, and Kingsman has been cast as the giant villain in the upcoming The Fantastic Four movie from Marvel Studios.
The casting for the upcoming movie has heated up in the last few weeks with the official cast being announced not long ago, and a few other castings here and there, now the big villain has been cast.
The villain casting comes before the planned mid-summer filming in England. On the call sheet are Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Julia Garner is the female Silver Surfer, and Paul Walter Hauser is in an undisclosed role with rumors he could be the robot H.E.R.B.I.E.
John Malkovich has also recently signed to star in the film with his character details being kept in the dark along with plot details of the film.
Galactus is an intergalactic being that eats the life force of planets. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, has appeared as a towering human-like figure. The character made his big screen debut in 2007 in The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, which portrayed the character as a CGI-generated cosmic cloud.
Matt Shakman will be directing the new Fantastic Four movie with the movie scheduled to release on July 25, 2025.
