What I Liked

1. Paula and Larry are definitely becoming favourites on the show. The invasions of privacy and lack of understanding for personal space does give me a good laugh each week. One minute they’re barging in with breakfast and the next Paula is manhandling Barbara at work, brilliant.

2. Cameron has been edgy for a while now and I’ve been dying to see what’s going on with him even though we all had a good idea. We finally see him use the same powers that his family have and I can’t wait to see what else he does going forward. Given how brutal Icicle was I hope Cameron can bring that same drama to our screens.

3. I love that Pat puts Sylvester in his place. As much as I love Starman there has been a lot of situations now where he’s been out of line and Pat always calls him out on it.

4. Barbara showing up to support Paula was very sweet. Obviously we’ve seen the back and fourth banter between the pair but it was never fully clear if Barbara actually saw her as a friend or was just keeping an eye on her, I think it’s safe to say now they’re friends and I’m totally here for it.

5. Interesting ending there as Sylvester is attacked while checking for anything they could’ve missed at the crime scene.

What I Disliked

Nothing to report this week.

Favourite Moment

I’m not even sure where to begin with that scene of Starman vs The Crocks. After finding out The Gambler was blackmailing The Crocks Starman is on the warpath and they come head to head in a supermarket. The fight as absolutely insane from both sides. The Crocks definitely held their own right until the end, and a huge shoutout to Joel McHale for such an impeccable performance as Starman. All characters had some amazing moves throughout the fight and certainly didn’t hold back. This scene was perfect.

Standout Character

Sylvester has to take standout yet again this week. Once again his scenes were all done perfectly. They were all either action packed or emotional and kept us entertained throughout.

Verdict

An amazing episode this week. So many characters stood out with amazing performances. We’re only a few episodes in but this season is yet again not disappointing.
