This is the way! Star Wars has just released the first official trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu.
The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin and his young apprentice Grogu.
Within the trailer, we get to see a brand new Razor Crest as well as the two ready for a fight. Throughout the trailer, we get to see Grogu with his new Anzellan friends as well as using a tiny telescope as he works alongside Din Djarin.
From toppling Imperial remnant AT-ATs to venturing into a gladiator fight where we get to see an impressive Hutt silhouette. The Mandalorian and Grogu are on a course for action and adventure.
The film is directed by Jon Favreau, which I’m super excited for and trust fully with something of this nature. Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce are also producing alongside Favreau.
The Mandalorian and Grogu is filmed for IMAX and opening exclusively in theaters May 22, 2026.
