The Obi-Wan Series Has NOT Been Cancelled

Somehow popular “news” site We Got This Covered has created yet again, another false article. This time claiming Disney has reportedly cancelled the Obi-Wan series. Prompting many news sites similar to ours, picking up the pieces.

Of course when a site like We Got This Covered has a huge following, it creates an unnecessary stir among fans, as people are very quick to believe stuff like this when it’s a well-established site that published these articles.

The Obi-Wan series is far from cancelled. After the success of The Mandalorian, anything Disney has in the pipeline for Star Wars is very likely to go ahead.

Vanity-Fair, and The Wrap (higher profile news sites) debunked the rumours very quickly. These are the types of sites you should believe, as they do their research. Even us, we only post articles that we have researched heavily into. It’s why we never have, and probably never will post an exclusive. That’s not what we’re here for, we’re here to post the truth as there’s so many lies, and fake rumours that float around social media.

Now, usually we wouldn’t mention the particular news site that published this, but on this occasion we do feel it’s necessary.

The Obi-Wan series is still on the high ground for Disney+ going ahead. Especially receiving a director not so long ago. Not to mention that it wasn’t actually that long ago the series was finally given the green light.

Ewan McGregor is excited to return to the role, and we’re excited to see him go again as he was one of the stronger parts of the Prequels.
