It feels like it’s been a hot minute since Netflix stormed the world with Wednesday, not just thrusting the series into stardom but Jenna Ortega.
The series was released in 2022 and won our Show of the Year that year too, which is a massive feat considering we mainly cover things like Marvel, DC, and Star Wars.
Jenna Ortega herself took to Instagram today to confirm the news.
As you have probably already seen at the top of this article, the cast, including some returns such as Emma Myers, was also released. It’s going to be an exciting time as more and more TV shows are being announced and moving forward.
Filming season 1 began in September 2021 and was subsequently released in November 2022. If that’s anything to go by, it’s extremely unlikely we’ll see the second season in 2022. It’ll more than likely be a 2025 release.
Either way, I’m happy this series got renewed. I have never cared for the Addams family stuff but this series did blow me away so I’m looking forward to it.
